knowing

truthiness
words that carry the conviction
that it was someone else’s responsibility
out of focus images
appear real
flaunting the flaw of falsehood
semblance of saintly sanity
hiding a hellbent half truth
behind big eyes
back lighting the stage
so clearly
it seems like a show
where lies upstage likely larceny
and love languishes
lowering eyelashes
flashing innocence
fills in the spaces left
fair fault finds purchase
elsewhere
